Final Conference
On 10-15 September 2020 Yerevan State Medical University after M. Heratsi (Armenia) as the project coordinator institution, hosted the final conference of the EU Erasmus+ CBHE 597977-EPP-1-2018-1-AM-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP project – “Doctoral Programmes in Public Health and Social Science (DPPHSS)’’, with the participation of representatives of the countries involved in the project, particularly from Austria, Romania, Slovakia, and Georgia. The invited guests from other countries (from the Republic of Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, etc.) also paid an official visit to the conference.
Professors and PhD students of medicine faculty and the administrative staff of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University attended the conference. The participants shared knowledge and experience gained during the project lasted for four years. Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University has provided four reports on the conference. The academic staff of TSU presented the achievements regarding development of doctoral programs in Public Health and Epidemiology, and the main role of international projects in education quality enhancement. Our students have presented the results of their researches. Discussion was held among participants about the presented topics on the final session. The representatives of the TSU handed the books of articles to the project coordinator and the participants, that were published in Georgia within the framework of the project. On September 14-15, 2022 the final meeting of project coordinators was held. The further collaboration between the participant academic institutions was planned.
